--------------------Horses----------------------------------------------------------- There is nothing like a horse, Running with quiet beauty. He moves like the wind, He runs as if his duty. Over mountains or past seas, To him makes no difference. He moves as if to Heaven, Angelic in appearance. He moves with the grace of nature, Amazing us with elegance. An always faithful companion; He impresses us with intelligence. He shows in arenas, As he bucks, herds or cuts. To him it all comes natural, No ifs ands or buts. He captivates all who sees, As he gallops, lopes & darts. Oh how we wish to travel with him, If only in our hearts! __________________________ Thanks much everyone for viewing & commenting!! I do very much appreciate all of you! Dan C):-)

Like that title. I took a bunch of horse pictures the last two Sundays but have not posted them. people don't seem to like horses on this site, just you and me. Lovely pasture scene. Somebody sure has some good lookin horses. Are they yours? great job as far as I'm concerned. I would have cloned out the fence and post.
Very nice capture.
No need to reply.

Dan, you & your horses ... is that the other poem you wrote? It's beautiful. I can never find an equal medium with horses .... either they like me way too much or I have the tendency to spook them. LOL! A fantastic capture & I guess you weren't "horsin' around" when you said you had more of these gorgeous animals. :-)

I guess you could say that you love horses, Dan. Can't say that I blame you. They are such magnificent animals and you poured your heart out in that poem. Excellent.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

Did you write that prose Dan ? ... D**n that's good stuff. Great shot of some magnificient animals. A pleasure to see them where they've got some room to roam. Sure beats seeing one pulling a carriage in the city streets. Never sat quite right with me. (TYU)

My dear friend Dan..you now have won my heart! There is nothing like horses to show us the beauty around us. Their freeness and spirit is fantastic. I have never forgotten all the horse ranches in South Dakota when I lived there. I learned to love thos dear animals. I wish I had the spirit they do. Here in Oregon the wild horses run every August, I wish so much I could see them just ONE time. It is in Eastern Oregon, and takes a while to get into the desert there. I want to thank you for such a lovely photo. I write poetry and am wondering if you wrote those lovely words. Thank you for this posting. Verena

You are the "Horse Whisperer" of Caedes Dan. Your love of these beautiful animals shows through your photography of them. I can tell too that your poem is heartfelt as well. Hard to write about something you don't have a passion for isn't it?. I have really enjoyed your photos you've shared with us. Thanks Dan.
