These flowers were growing along the entrance road to Newton Hills State Park.
Thanks to all for your views and great comments! Much appreciated!! ~Dan
That had to be a pretty sight for your camera. Love that green grass and those yellow daiseys. I might have tried a shot down lower and shot right across the tops of all those grasses and daiseys. I think that would make a good picture but who knows. Nice as it, though.

Lovely field of flowers you have captured and the grass in there is so richly green in nice contrast to the dark trees beyond. Very lovely in every respect.
The shades of green with the yellow flowers are stunning. You captured this beautifully Dan ... a very cheerful image. You know what colors green & yellow belong to ... I won't say, but I'm sure you know. LOL. Excellent work my friend. :-)
Beautiful an serene with many shades of green and the dots of yellow are delightful. What a pleasing post and def a keeper. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

For all the green and pretty wildflowers, you certainly must be getting more rain than your neighbor up north. They're pretty dry, I hear. I didn't realize that so much green existed in the Dakotas :) Now, if I go and look at this one on Pat's monitor, it doesn't look as though the middle of the field is a little over exposed, but it does on mine, so I'll just go and continue this comment on the other puter :) Nope, I lied..it looks a little overexposed on that one too..just not as much... other than that it's an extremely summery take and definitely a study in contrasts of green. Nice job...save it for when it's -30 with wind chill factors..or does that only happen in ND? :)PJ
The foreground is quite a bit overexposed. Also the trees in the background take the eye away from the main object of the photo, which are the flowers in the foreground. Perhaps if taken from a different angle and with the exposure set for the flowers, it would turn out better. It's still an OK photo the way it is though.
I just love to see wildflowers growing along the roadside. There's just something about them being scattered like the wind and settling where they want, that just makes them seem more beautiful. You've captured the spirit of them quite well in this Dan. Very pretty.
