Caught this barn sitting down behind a rise while out driving. hmmm..looks a lot like the ol' barn did after we got through with our Caedes Christmas barn dance! LOL Hope I can get it whipped back into shape before next years! I "tweaked" the colors up on this a tad. With the exception of the snow it was pretty gray & dreary looking to begin with. Hope you enjoy this one and thanks for stopping by as always!

Come now, my friend...we didn't put THAT much of a hurting on that old barn that night, did we? or did we :( lol...there are some parts of the happy night I'm not reallllll clear on..lol...I like the way you captured the barn sitting down below us in that depression, because it looks a little depressed. Perhaps if there were a little more snow? Nice shot, my friend, and if you need any help whipping our party barn back into shape, just give me a holler...wouldn't want to miss it next year....

It looks like a painting and a fine one too, Dan. What a neat old barn and it still makes an interesting photo even with the browner earth colors.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Nice job with this Dan ... but I really can't imagine a Caedes Barn dance having been held in this one ... simply because the roof is still on the place. :o) Nice "tweaking too.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Dan, you have just outdone yourself with this capture. I just love countryside photos and this one is a gem.The snow on the roof is what really makes this stand out. It just looks so pretty on the roof and I can only imagine how pretty this would be as a picture over my fireplace. Nice work!

Although it is obviously cold as there is snow, this picture has a softness and warmth to it I really like. Beautifully composed and a pleasure to look at.
