I used the flash on this shot which I did not do on my previous ones. Not sure if it made it better worse, or not much change? I'll let you be the judge of that! lol Thanks much for all your views and comments. If you would like to see a daytime image of this click HERE.

I still like the Sunset at the End of the Trail II myself. I like the complete silhouette that it gives. In my opinion, the flash detracts from that effect. And I just love that sunset, plus the angle on II is more to my liking...fussy, huh? ::LOL:: Well, Sheriff, you asked !!

I like it a bit more without the flash, since the colors of the sky are more intensive. But still I always enjoy those images.

Yeah I have to vote no flash too buddy, although this is great you can see the flash on the outside circle and to me it just look more dramatic with it portrayed against the sky. :) Course what the hell do I know ?? LMAO

A beautiful capture Dan and so well composed. I really like the sunset in the background and the title is very appropriate. I went to look at the others and enjoyed all of them. Good job.

I vote no flash. It was a good experiment though. It looks better silhouetted without detail against the beautiful sunset.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I like them both. The sky is a little better in "Sunset at the End of the Trail II" but I like the shimmer in the iron on this one.

I personally think that you should have turned the flash off. I think that the silhouette definately works better.
