The way you have this composed is just right Dan. It looks as though these birds may be pretty big from your photo. The flight of a bird is always a sight to behold. Glad you shared this with us.

I finally saw one doing about this, only there was no water and it was much to far away, and I was riding in a car, but other than that it was exactly like this...hehhehehehe...I like it, Dan, and blurry or no, you're on your way to action shots. Nice effort, Sheriff ...

Catching a bird in flight seems to me to be a very difficult endeavor and you have gotten him into the frame which is much more than I could do! LOL He looks great up there above that beautiful water and the green tree breaks up the color a bit too.
