"Bacchus", the Roman god of wine and intoxication, by Sherri Treeby of good ol' South Dakota! I didn't taste this fountain but as far as I know it was just water flowing. lol :)

Sheesh, boy howdy...he can't be a god of wine. Look, he's pouring the stuff out on to the fountain. Perhaps he's had a bit too much of the bubbly himself? Another great job, and weren't you lucky to have such a lovely sunny day for this? :)

Either he is little or those rocks are enormous! Either way, I love this shot because it does make him look diminuitive next to the flowing water. What warm, rich colors in this, Dan!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

The statue was quite small actually. Maybe 18 inches tall or so.

You really caught a great one, Dan! Love the way you composed this. I'd never have guessed the statue was so small.
