One of the many characters you see walking the streets of this sleepy little western town. For a second I thought it was John! lol I think he has almost as much fur!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I always wondered what Santa did in the off season, now I know. He attends a Mountain Rondezvous. Good crisp picture and he'd better watch his step, if you know what I mean. I just commented on PJ's dinner guests.
I was at the Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale, WY 3 days ago, and learned something interesting about real Mountain Men of the day, they did not wear beards! During that period, beards were not in vogue, and it would have been near impossible for a man with a beard to get himself a Native bride.
The image of Mountain Men with beards developed as time went by, and has become the image most people today see associated with them, even though it is not accurate.
What a great capture Dan. I love how his hat matches his beard and that walking stick is just way too cool. Sounds as if a good time was had by all- Thanks for sharing!
What a "wild" shot, Sheriff. Lovely composition and the focus is crisp and the subject is very interesting.
The Rodeo's in Town!!!!!
