I wish I understood more about how this worked, but I am filled with admiration for the practicality and competence of those ancient Romans. Notice the handle on each jar, and the reinforced top, plus the uniformity of each "pipe". I'm glad you showed some of the stone wall in the background.

This is very nice - there is so much to look at. I like the detail that you see on the pipes and the shadows. I would possibly try cropping just a touch on the top to get rid of that dark thing in the center, but I do like the stone wall.

I knew that the Romans filtered water...but I had no Idea that they used a system like that! Great Find!

I have come to the grand conclusion that the world is not flat...nor is it round...it is completely subjective upon the way one observes theirs...
