The black areas of the butterfly are a bit dark - lacking detail. The chewed up leaf on the right is a little distracting. Despite these minor details the overall contrast and deep rich color of the butterfly makes a strong positive impact. ( Nice Wow factor.) The diagonal line and off center position of the butterfly contribute to an attractive composition as well. Well done.

Beautiful butterfly photo. The butterfly perfectly placed in your composition. Colors, contrast and lighting very good. Though some minor distracting objects in the frame this is a great shot. I liked the bokeh of the blurred background.

I like the dark blacks on the butterfly; I think they work well and create a nice contrast against the orange. I think the head is slightly soft/out of focus. I also find the leaf on the right a bit distracting, but I really like the bokeh in the center and to the left. I think the vivid orange you captured looks great as well.

I'm SO jealous! You're lucky to have them migrate through. Excellent clarity on the wings. They do move so it's hard to get everything perfect.
