Another mushroom photo... My last one this year I think. ^_^ I believe it is the "Armillariella mellea" but I'm not 100% sure. It grew bye a large tree at the base of its stem.

I shot it the same day as "In the Shadows" and "Toadstool" (October 12). But I was in a totally different location, and it was afternoon. (16:21) That was a great day for me in many ways.

Wow, I like this one alot Klas. You have got such wonderfull light which brings it to life. Great shadows and earthy tones as well. I think they would look great on that burger? hehe. This one is in my favourites:-)

Pierre and Darryl, I checked again. It could be the "Pholiota squarrosa". That one is not too good to eat... good thing I didn't try them when I think about it.

Yes... Pholiota or Lepiota family...
Some of Lepiota are very edible, but some are toxic... Be careful, we want to preserve the caedes.net photographers... ;-)
