The outer defence wall, surrounding Old Side in Turkey, submerged (I couldn't find better word) under sanddunes of the wasteland that is there today. It's not a perfect shot maybe but I like it anyway. :)

Thanks for the great comment Avi. It was shot just about on hour before sunset. It was color and level corrected slightly but I wouldnt say that I darkened the shot. It is however a bit darker than the original file (when I look closely) but not by much. :)

Thank you. I really enjoyed my shooting session in this desert like wasteland. (It was too little to ba a real desert I think, I choose to call it a wasteland in stead but I think of ia as a desert anyhow. :))

Don't know how I missed this. Gotta love that random page, I guess. Anyway, I love the false light capture here. Late afternoon or very early morning. Great balance and composition, Klas.

8/10: Great shot. A little dark, but very appealing.

Every vote is accompanied by an explanation of how I voted, and why. This is in order to solve the problem of comments being TOO nice and not enough constructive criticism.

Thank you Tracy, it was late afternoon. That grass wasen't perfect in every aspect but I like the rest of the shot very much.

Thank you Sam too. :) I hadn't started to play around that much with editing when I submitted this one. I guess I could use dodgeing a bit if I really wanted to. (On the other hand I think it does it pretty good in this lightsettings.)

Truly amazing. That bit of grass in the center looks like a sea urchin from a long lost inland ocean.

Great perspective. Love how the grains of sand are so evident in this shot.

The quality of this photo is very nice, good detail. I really like the way the walls are back half obscured by the sand dunes, and the colour of the sky is quite pleasing. As a personal prefernce I feel that the plant in the foreground is a little distracting, but regardless, it is quite nice.
