My second try to work with the shots I got from Avi. I got four versions of this piece. I hope some of you like one of them at least. ^_^ I had the other versions in this series slightly off center, just like I usually want it... This one however seem to be working better when in perfect symmetry. This piece is obviously a tribute to Avi's work as I use the same filtering as he does in many of his sumbmissions. :)

I like this one best... I would have called it "Sheild of flame"; That's what it looks like to me. I think this design exploits the metallic material better than the others too, it looks heavier...

Thank you for commenting Sam. I really appriciate it since I'm new to this level of editing. I was afraid it maybe looked too busy. I think it looks like flames too. I just couldn't think of a good name. I know I maybe post too many versions of the same image... I can't help it ^_^ It's such fun to make them. =)

thanx 4 ur comments Klas but this one belongs to u.. this is my fav of the four versions(mainly coz its my fav filter that u hav used....jk) & u have done mighty fine job of it too. it looks like a fine tapestry or a finely woven carpet with the symmentrical patterns on it. & i agree with Sam it looks heavy & compliments the metallic surface. wicked job : {D

Agree with San and Avi - this is my favourite too. You've come a long way from the original picture here and made a really striking image - I like it a lot.

Thank you, I know what you mean. ^_^ This particular filtering worked out great with this image. I think it allmost got a 3D quality in some of the texture.
