Thank you guys. I too have memories like this from my childhood. Allmost every summer I went to a farm where my grandparents (on my mothers side) lived.
Hello Klas: Finally, I found it. I remember seeing this image and it made me think of all the wheat we grow around here. It inspired me to go out into the wilds of Dry Land Wheat farms and end up with "Together We Stand".
If not for your beautiful image as inspiration, it is doubtful that my image would have been taken.
So, I guess what I'm trying to say is: Your image rates a 10 from me, and, Thanks for the inspiration.
Bad artists always admire each other’s work. They call it being large-minded and free from prejudice. But a truly great artist cannot conceive of life being shown, or beauty fashioned, under any conditions other than those he has selected.

It is a great idea and a good composition and colors, but i feel it is a bit in between : a bigger f would have made the single one in focus more stand out . Or a smaller f to make the rest more clear. (my opinion ofcourse.)
You just displaced my current desktop with this one...it is very "fallish", but I love wheat...and it is a staple of life...the golden colors radiate warmth...it suggests a bountiful harvest...this is SO good...Thanks...Bill.
