Ok, I admit I put the leaf in the puddle of water... ^_^ I just thought it looked good this way. Maybe I should put it in the photo manipulation gallery. (Oh no, I'm tired and posting again... there ought to be a law against it. :D)

I must be tired too. I didn't even read your title until after I viewed full size and thought, "It's taking it's final voyage." I think it was the darkness of the background that portrayed that more intensely. I like your composition of this one very much even if you did help it along a little. ;)

An interesting image and I like the second leaf acting almost like a shadow. Good job.

Thank you BJ and Russ. That second leaf is the reason I put my subject in that position. I was aiming for this effect. I'm glad you noticed.

Water is water! Whether a stream or a puddle, you have a very strong composition. It really needs to be seen full size to appreciate.

Great color and detail and alexis is right, the composition really pops out when you blow it up to full size.

Thank you for the kind comments Alexis and Mike. That's very nice to hear. :) (Most of my images need full size viewing to be properly appreciated IMHO.)

Good morning
Thought that had seen all of the photographs on the site, but missed this somehow. What can I say that hasn't already been said above? The veins of this leaf stand right out, as though there is a fire flowing in them.
