Digitally created "fossil" using much of the same technique as my recent fern abstract. I got the idea from Sam, thanks for that. :)

This is a nice one, Klas. Warm earth colors and a good job on the fossil. Well done.

There you go. I see it. ;) Just the right light here too. Excellent color choice.

Thanks BJ, I'm glad you like the colors. That and the texture (most of it comes from photos of sand and dried up plants) are the main thing for me in this one. I put the fish there to make it more interesting. That was a good idea Sam had. I made some different versions. I'll see if I submit some more...

I like this series. I'd like to imagine that somewhere in the world a museum might have one of each on their computer screens.

I really like this. Nice and subtle. My sister used to collect fossils like this... :)

Thanks! :) I used to collect fossils too when I was a kid and I was totally fascinated by it. We didn't have big fancy fossils though, just the average trilobite and different sea-shells.

high marks from me (from the voting booth) I like the originality here- and the warm tone.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I'm really happy with this one too, but it's evident that it's not an all time favourite for the A1 type voter. ^_^
