The shapes were more interesting then the colors so I changed the color a tad bit... I hope the red looks good at your end of the pipeline. It looks nice on my screen at least. ^_^

Hey! works from you! jeah! It's interesting. I mean, I suppose you have quite bright screen or something 'cause it's looking very dark on my screen... Or maybe that's the point :P Now I see after looking at it about few minutes I find new things. It's kinda great in the way that it's really peaceful with that dark red colour but if you want something to look at you can stare at this for a long time and still it's a little hard to find all the detail. The pic being dark may be good choise but the detail is looking a bit flat. I mean Many interesting parts are just the same lightness so maybe some variation or contrast between some parts of the image would have done the trick.

Actually by now it has become more clear again and some of the finest detail can be found. (still I think I need a better screen to replace my old and crappy one :S )

Hi there Was. I had to turn off the lights in my office to view your image, but it works quite well that way. I see what you mean about the interesting shapes. I presume these were types of red flowers? Fascinating what you did with them to make the viewer really want to see them.....another Klas special! Thank you for sharing this with us ~:)

i see the effect. the flower is smothered in darkness & is is quite intruiging. in that it makes u look harder. *after much scrutiny* any idea as to what the flower is ?

Thanks for the comments guys. As I wondered how this piece might look to others, I looked on it on a computer at work. It was over 95% total darkness as opposed to just maybe 50 or so as intended... :P I guess one have to get a fantabulous screen like me (I got an iMac G5(or like, calibrate it)) to really appreciate it.

Exquisite capture. Nice to see the details of the flower - the inner part is like another bloom with its little swirls. The middle red is terrific with the deeper red. Very pleasing dark color. This could be a tad lighter, but I don't have your screen :) Super job on this beauty!!

Thanks for the comment. I guess your screen is pretty much as good as mine if you see all those details. It is a very dark image... ;) and it could be much lighter. I just did it this way as a contrast to the typical flower-shot that you would see around here (or by me for that matter).
