very nice works well as a desktop, and it deserves a much higher c-index then what it has (30 at the time i posted this) and i agree photoshop is a very beautiful thing.

The color blend is nice, but it could do with a bit more depth. If you tried slapping a filter on top of the Photoshop renders that would bend or stretch them, it might help. Either way, I compliment you for thinking with creativity and trying new things. Keep it up!

Consciousness - that annoying time between naps

The balance of your composition is very good. For me, this is one of the strongest elements of the collage. The colour palette works well.
'Beautiful thing?' Hmm, intriguing is much more appropriate. You have some obvious talent, evidenced by this image and more so (IMHO) by your other work. Nice to have discovered you :) . Look forward to seeing more.
