Lovely blues and I really like the way the headlands fade into the mist. One problem, however, is your sea-level is not level and it would improve this picture hugely if it was. Most editing software has a straightening tool. Picasa by Google has an excellent straightening tool and it is free.
" A citizen can hardly distinguish between a tax and a fine, except that the fine is generally much lighter."
G. K. Chesterton.
You are neither taxed nor fined if you look at My Gallery.
I like the low angle of this shot, and the mysterious feel of the distant hazy hills comes over very well. I too think the shot would have benefitted from straightening, and also by editing out the floating bit of paper/plastic as this distracts from the aesthetics of the image. Have you come across the rule of thirds? You may find that the shot looks better still if you crop off a little from the top of the sky and the bottom of the water, so that they don't occupy more than one-third of the frame each. As the shot is a landscape (or waterscape) this would also help give more of a panoramic feel to the view.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
