I suppose it is a food warmer, to keep the food hot. It is a nice image and a nice entry Milka.

Apart from the ring and glass plate a have no Idea so this is a very good capture for the contest Milka, plus very interesting photo and nice detail plus composition too.

I recognize most things, but the bigger item, might it be some type of gyroscope, just a thought here. Nice and interesting collection.

Very good entry, it really has me guessing. My first thought about the largest item was also a gyroscope. But that can't be right, gyroscopes aren't mounted in such antique stands. Then I thought it might be some kind of light where the knobs on the side adjust the flame.

The item in the plate looks like a bracelet. But the size isn't right when compared to the ring. This made me think the ring isn't really a finger ring but something else like a napkin ring.

well, a wedding ring in there, but the glass, I do believe is part of an old telephone wire hook up. (I think.. have seen something similar to this... but can't swear it was for a phone... maybe early elctrical -the wires go through here before they get to your house - kinda thing....
