Great capture of a classic pose of the Imperial Elk bull with his cows!! The velvet on the horns is so beautiful Kristof. The background is perfect and shows them in a natural setting. Off to my favorites goes the harem and their leader :)

Wonderful upload, but I got a different sense about this one. It looks to me as he's there protecting his female and their two young ones..as you can see she's exhausted, prone on the ground resting while he has his eyes on the progeny...maybe I'm wrong, but the other two look awfully young to be mates just yet :) At any rate...a top notch pic :)
