Love the different elements in this Kevin - the natural rockface, man made buildings all behind those wonderful red poppies which contrast so well with the green and clay colours. It is all brought into perspective by the inclusion of those tiny human figures at the top of the cliffs. Nice one indeed!
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Those red poppies really do liven up what seemly was an overcast day. The line of the cliff and foliage in the foreground balance this image perfectly. Well done! Ann
Kevin - The background of limestone cliffs and the array of buildings on top almost diminish the beauty of the foreground poppies - that's not a bad thing. The combination of foreground and background create a nicely balanced image. Thad
Nice one indeed!
