Yes, it really looks like it was a beautiful day, but the pic would have been much better if you for example zoomed (or took few steps closer) to that lake, avoiding at least half of that lawn and catching more of those tree crowns (now they are a bit cut off) and sky above instead of the lawn... or you could have at least crop the image a bit... *shrug* just my two cents

It is well done and technical perfect , but i don't care for the scene . (i can't really give you a reason for it , it is just how i feel about it ) This is ofcourse my personal view.

Nice and clear, excellent lighting! The only reason I can see for the low index is mayyybe more sky/water and less land would have improved it. The background's great, btw... had to look at it for a while to absorb all the elements.

As is pointed out, there is a lot of foreground in the shot, but the leaves do establish a great depth of field. There is something to look at from your <feet> to the far horizon. I also like the slightly underexposed lighting which gives a nice late day effect. - Dave

A very nice and sharp image with lots of interest in it....The foreground is perhaps a bit unusual with all the leaves but I think it gives it a quality that is very attractive.

HI neighbor, and I do mean neighbor. Harveston lake looked bigger to me when I was out there. Is this like a finger off of the main lake? Nice shot, nice and sharp, I'm impressed. I didn't think those Canon Powershots took such good pictures.
