I've just returned from a well needed vacation to Canada's west (the Rocky mountains). Here is a classic road and mountain photo. It's very common and easy to find a million like it, but this one is mine, and that is special to me (LOL). Anyway, I'm adding it to my gallery as more of a good memory and to be a part of my small but growing collection. Cheers!! (did some clean up, this is the second go around for this shot)

Yes, they may be common shots but each one is special. I really like the way the road is empty. Must have been a peaceful drive. Hope you vacation was a great one. And that we will be seeing more photo's of it.

This gets high marks from and is in my favorites . The grey of the road complements the colors of the mountains and you captured it just right.

Nice capture of a vast and open landscape, I like it and regarding the complementing colors I agree with the comment above. Thumbs up, Lady...

Excellent DOF, color and compositon! Very well done!

You can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights!

HWY 1A, just West of Cochrane, AB... beautiful! The flat-faced rock in the centre left, is Mount Yamnuska. http://www.rmbooks.com/Peakfinder/peakfinder.ASP?PeakName=YAMNUSKA
