Here is an intriging picture for you. It is foggy but yet clear and calm enough to cast the reflection of the trees on the water. It does make a nice desktop as well. Comments appreciated as always.

This is absolutely stunning. The water looks like a mirror and you've captured it in all it's beauty and serenity. Fabulous photo Ladyred

At first glance it appears to be a most unusual rock protrusion from a cliff face with an improbable tree growing upside down. Then I see the faint ghostly shape of a distant shoreline. Fog photos are difficult but worth the effort as you've demonstrated so well. Thanks for the submission.

You're absolutely right Ruby- This is a fine example of a foggy morning when enlarged. It's perfectly balanced as well.

It's a wonderful capture. Very deceiving at first glance. I also saw it as an odd rock formation poised over a fog shrouded valley below. Without those trees in the waters reflection I not sure how long it would have taken me to get my bearings. :) Well done.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
