I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band, I saw a needle that winked its eye. But I think I will have seen everything When I see an elephant fly. MY GALLERY

Ruby, this is by far the best picture I've seen of such a bright yellow flower. It's often hard to capture them without harshness or glare. You've done a spectacular job.
I know what you mean about catching up on thankyous. I personally don't need thanks for commenting. It's enough to know that you reciprocate and take the time to look at my pictures.

Now that's close, Miss Ruby and that marigold is so frilly. Beautiful shot!

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

Mercy. You sure did nail the detail in this one. Each little pedal is defined. I know what kind of flower this is but, notonly can I not pronounde it, I cannot spell it so suffice it to say, it's purty and well done. No need to respond.

What a beautiful yellow flower and a great photo. But how can you go wrong when Mother Nature sets up the picture so well.

Now this is one great closeup of a Marigold Ruby. They are tiny flowers so you have done an excellent job here in keeping the clarity and detail intact. Very pretty.

"Golden Ball" is somehow more appealing to me than was "Mary's Gold". The lighting, as well as the detail of the subject and background have more continuity. Sometimes, and I stress, sometimes, I find a slight variation of the angle directly off center can provide more interest. Good one.....................Neil TKU
