Looks like the eastern Sierra, even though I know it's probably not. :) Good shot, but it looks a little washed out.

And I definately agree, it does make all the difference.

The hints of humanity in the fence & the small dirt road in contrast with the mountains make their majesty really stand out. It's beautiful!

I can almost smell the sage...I love the way you used the curve of the road and the fence..then the majestic mountains looming above...wonderful the way they all merge. I've been at Bannack, Mt. and it's much like this...with theTetons on one side and a lot of sage..its soooo beautiful in these places..and then to capture them on film..HMMMM
