They play a central part in some creation myths and frequently appear as messengers of the deities. And they are often associated with the journey of the human soul after death.

A stunning design. Very kinetic. The colors are terrific and the image fidelity is incredible. The stylistic quality really does lend itself to metaphysical, even mythological references. Nice job...as usual.
