A Whisper
by Veronica Ann Cech

Last night I watched the sun set -
The couple sitting in dark silhouette,
Heads on shoulders, hands entwine,
One of body, soul, and mind.

His Mountain.
Her Lakeshore.
Vast canyons -
A possibility of much more.

No promises made,
Nothing to keep.
Perhaps a whisper
Floats in the dark, so deep.

Despite good intentions,
But with faith ensured,
Runs deep emotions -
We will endure.

Ask nothing of me.
Nothing I will ask of you.
Just one disclaimer,
To thine own heart be true.

When you awaken
Greet the morning light,
Look to the East -
It will be all right.

Heads on shoulders,
Souls entwine,
Embrace softly -
Thine heart is mine.

A beautifully delicate image. Love the fidelity and the sense of motion. I can almost feel a small breeze as it sweeps past....or did I leave the front door open again? Anyway, very nice design.

Beautiful Lauren. It fits the poem perfectly. The poem, to me, is about harmony and that is what I see in your image.

The creation of yours here is just beautiful. THe colours are soft and yet whimsical in design...The touch of pink towards the top is just the right touch....its as tho a bit of magic was the final little "kiss" to the whole thing. Very very nice..

The colors and the way the light plays on this image have drawn me to it! This is beautiful Miss Lauren! I love how it swirls and it twirls and still appears so graceful and elegant looking. I would call this a classy creations you have done. I would definitely frame and hang this on my wall (It would go great in my kitchen by the way...lol). Perfect color choice! Good job girlfriend. You did good here. Good sharp lines as well!
Thanks also for the recent visit to my gallery and the awesome descriptive words you left on ~miss lili~ and ~driving miss daisy~. Hubby and me are glad most of the physical labor is over. I hand mulched the back garden yesterday for six hours.....boy did my body hurt, but the flowers you commented on are the result of us working hard and taking care of what we have. I am glad that you were able to enjoy and share in the beauty of my garden vicariously through the lens of my camera. Your continued smiley support is deeply appreciated. Thank you my friend :~)
