You have a really good perspective shot here with lots of competing angles and lines which you emphasized really well by using black and white. B&W allows us to eliminate the distractions that color brings to images. I think the image is a bit grainy or out of focus, though.

My first reaction ... How like Hitchcock. The angles created, the use of B&W and the mystery. A fine shot!

Upon seeing this, I thought "I hope this isn't a habitual view for you! Not at 5:00AM!" BW stuff is always very interesting, and, while I agree with the focus comments, I have to add that whenever I try a picture that requires good focus up front and yet there is interest in the background, I have a real stinker of a time getting it right. I've finally decided that I need a camera that can take better a picture than I can. Nice artsy shot.

I like the shot. Interesting and nicely framed. I like the way you have used the rail on the right as a vertical reference. I also think that your focus is fine - the problem with the blurring is not focus or shake, but depth of field. You can improve the depth of field with a longer exposure/narrower aperture.

Good one
