And, you did it very well! I like the blue sky, the clouds hovering about the sun, and the sun's rays warming the horizon. Everything works together to produce a wonderful picture.

This is indeed a beautiful sunrise but as a small critique, I think the beach is a little out of contrast and the yellow caution tape adds a damper to this photo. Overall this is a good capture.

Great evening sun and sky. It is true that the image is not balanced in terms of luminescence, but with sunsets/sunrises, that is nearly always the case. Actually, hold on.....the images look completely different when viewed full screen. The shot is much more balanced than when I first looked at it. The yellow plastic could be easily cloned out if you wished. Very nice progressive colours and patterns in the clouds. Not quite as good, but check out my computer generated image End of a digital day, which share some of the sky characteristics you captured.......I prefer your sky to mine though :-)
