Always a delight to see a crisp, clear capture of a hummingbird at the feeder. They are so much fun to watch and when they are in a picture, the viewer can study them all they want! Good job on this.....the poor fella is just trying to keep his strength up for all the flying that he does.!!! Thanks :~)

I cant imagine how you got this little bird at a time when his wings were not fluttering. I have never seen one sit still. I have them all over my shrubs in the spring and summer, and they do make a humming noise.and thats a female too, since she doesnt have much colour..so she sits prettily just feeding..so sweet...but this is lovely..just lovely.

Very nice picture and a fantastic overall composition, as fas as one can say that from an animal shot. What I like the most is the play of colors in your image. It would be only half as impressive as it is without the reddish feeder. Great clarity and well balanced colors and contrast in your shot, high marks from me for this very nice picture !!!

Nice picture, my input would be to include all of the feeder and as an artistic touch you could do a black and white with the feeder in color.
