I like the deep green of the grass... and your image is well-focused. Can you get closer to the birds so they are the main attraction? The buildings and cars are a little bit of a distraction, and I'd like to see more of the birds.

G'day,
This is an interesting photograph because it's got a few significant things wrong with it and few important things right with it. You've composed it in thirds, which is good, no rule is always relevant but that one is generally a good rule of thumb. The geometric skyline plays off well against the smoothness of the grass. The geese add interest. The totally blown out sky is a problem which can be fixed in Photoshop or The Gimp (Which is free.) with a little practice. The green is strong and vibrant. You have a good eye, keep it up.

Do I need to look in a mirror to see myself?

Your download rate is testimony to how appealing this photo is! I like the contrast between the wild geese and the modern architecture. In an ideal world, the geese would be closer together and you could get more geese per foot of grass. I can see that the closer you moved towards them the more they stepped away from you! I actually think you have too many subjects here...the lush grass against the winter sky, the geese in the city (which will be surprising to many people) and the interesting building with it's geometric lines and warm facade. I hope you took some studies of the building with that light scattering of yellow leaves in front of it.

Considering that you entitled the picture "Building..." your perspective is correct. If you were focusing on the geese you might want more than their behinds... LOL. Good advice from Mythmaker.
