On my post of Redwoods Green Carpet someone said they wished they could see the original copy so I figured why not? This was taken in The Avenue of Giants in september '06.

Oh, Lisa, I can see why you decided on the surreal look you posted first on this one..thanks so much for posting this as I can really see now what you were working with and all you did was enhance what was going on at the time anyway...

I believe I was one of the commenters who asked for the original...and I really DO like it. Maybe not better, but certainly as much! The elements I liked are still there...the lacy branches, the magnificient stump. I can see that you had light problems...in order to get the green definition you had to put up with the light blast in the foreground. Thanks for posting this one.
