I used to live across the street from this pier when I was growing up. My parents took me to the beach right there almost every day when I was little. It's a lot more crowded in the summer but fairly peaceful this time of year. I was standing by those palm trees when I shot the previous post, "Winter Wave". I took this one from the top of a parking garage of a condo just after Christmas.

What wonderful childhood memories you must have. You've taken both of these scenes with great precision and it seems to me that you've been scouting out these angles for a long time in your mind. The excellence shows. :)PJ

The angles/composition in this are great. Pity the garage wasn't a storey or two higher so you could get the pier a little lower in the photo, further from the water/horizon line. See, that's why you should always have a fireman's extension ladder in your camera bag. lol.
