Another picture from playing around with the new camera. Loved the curly fern...thought it had some interesting shape/texture. This was the best of the bunch, unfortunately a wee bug is in it, which kinda spoils it, but overall I think it turned out well.

If that insect is really "bugging" you, it can easily be cloned out with an editing program. Another fun project could be giving it butterfly wings. Have fun with your new camera. You're off to a good start.

It is nice and clear around your focal point, which is always a plus, in my opinion.

Ooh, that pesky bug! He's only a bother because he's so close to the part you're focusing on. If he was very out of focus or extremely in-focus it would work a little bit better. Good subject, though... and nice focus.

You have captured a good shot here. Forget the insect, it only adds to the dimention of the focus of the entire plant. THe background and foreground are ok.
