Welcome to Caedes. I hope you enjoy yourself here as much as I do.
Very nicely done, excellent framing of the powerful wave in the distance.
When I first stepped off the plane in Hawaii I had a feeling I have no way to describe. I am NOT particularly religious but closest description that comes to mind is some kind of deep underlying spirituality. So whenever I see a post of pictures from Hawaii, I must ask... the poster, did you experience anything like that? Jas
Wow, staggering view! The low angle makes for an interesting composition. The lighting in this is beautiful, both in the foreground and the distance. My only criticism is that the sun is slightly overpowering. On saying that shooting into the sun isn't easy and you've done well to maintain detail in the darker regions. A terrific start to your gallery, welcome to Caedes.
I don't think the sun is overwhelming at all!
I think you've got the right balance here.
The light vs. darker parts, the color, the details..
9/10!
Cheers :)
Amazing view of Kauai and a beautiful start to the day. The lush greenery and the beauty of the sun glistening and those awesome clouds...it's all perfection and makes me miss it ;) Very well done and welcome to Caedes. Will surely be watching for more posts from you. It's a great place for learning and friendship.
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita

Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you.
