My lonely image: The Eye of the Beholder's Cousin
This is an awesome picture. The tiger is georgous and the photograph captures his beauty. It is awesome to see a powerful animal like the tiger sleeping so peacefully.

I am glad that you took this picture at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I think their display is one of the best displays, with the whole "Indian tiger hunting lodge that has been destroyed and taken over by the tigers"-look to it and the small waterfall. You have defintely captured that feeling, with the tiger resting after driving the evil poachers away.

what a detailed and clean shot, you must be using a high quality camera.. hope to see some other stunning images like this one! ;) this is a fantastic close up.. if i had been in your position, i wouln't have moved a single step closer, heheh :)
and for the image.. great lightning and composition. i like the way his head is focused calmly resting on his paws.. another angle would be good, but i think this one is the best for expressing his full greatness and beauty.
the fact that he had slept on an old fountain, reminded me of disney's the jungle book..there is an ancient ruined temple in that cartoon and its stones and walls remind me of this fountain. who knows, maybe he plays a role of shir kahn there, after all, it's disney's animal kingdom :)))
