"Sitting by the dock of the bay". 8~)

Nice capture of the boats and the boy & his bike do add a nice touch!! The horizontal line seems a wee askew, but not too bad. Great in the sepia!!

You should always post if you're not sure, and ask for comments. There is a lot of friendly talent here willing to offer advice and constructive critiques. I think you did a great job on this but have to agree with Hotrockin about the skew. I think I also would have shifted left just a bit to be dead on with the peir. nice job.

i agree with the previous comments. it would have been neat to have the boy + Bike a little more towards the centre so they're noticed quicker, because thats my favorite part of this photo

I also agree about the skew. It's a great composition though, the boy adds a classic touch. Lovely sepia tones. :)

While I typically like images such as these without any human distraction, I really like what you've done here! The guy with the bike not only adds life to the pic but also adds perspective to the shot and the size of the boats. Love the sepia as well - evens everything out but with depth maintained. My only suggestion would be to level the shot slightly - I find with water shots especially, a perpendicular horizon against the frame of the pic adds to the serenity of the image. Great capture!!
