Oh, very nice ! it is great to see it covered in snow, when i was here , no snow at all, so i like this posting very much. Furthermore, this is the most beautifull side of the mountain, taken from the Swiss side. It looks so different from the Italian side.
Thanks for the post.

Very nice, and thanks. When I was a child, I thought NO mountain could really look like that...and so it must be just a drawing! I have it on my desktop right now.

Hello, I've never seen any of your photos before, and when I saw your name and that you were from Louisiana, I had to take a look at your gallery. I didn't expect to see a photo of the famous
Matterhorn..but it is just gorgeous! It must have been quite an experience to see that! You took a magnificent photo of course!
I lived in Louisiana for 14 yrs before I moved here to ORegon.
Thank you for posting this grand photo..and I will keep looking thru your gallery a bit now..Verena
The north face of the Matterhorn just at the border with Italy (the other side of the mountain lays in Italy) This view is known all over the world. And although there are a few mountains double this hight in the Karakorum and Himalaya mountain ranges, this is the most well known mountain on the planet. You must have taken the shot in winter, where i only have seen it in summer time. Thanks for this view.
Thanks for the post.
