Milford sound is renowed for it's high rainfall. The increase in waterfalls is dependant on how much rain is falling at any one time. This day it had been raining non stop for weeks, and the waterfalls were everywhere. I was on a cruise and as you can see there was heaps of mist and lowlying rainclouds. It was amazing.
