On a beach in Geelong Victoria I saw these strange grass pods that were rolling over the sand, so I captured it.

The array of pastel colours is delicious. The pod is kinda alienish and intriguing. Getting almost all of that pod, with all those tendrils poking every which way, in focus is quite a triumph. The angle of the waterline is excellent. Only thing I can think to improve it might be to have the pod a little more off centre to the left, which might be more balanced and might also give us a touch more of that sparkling sunlight reflections. Lovely shot Sis.

What a most wonderful photo!! I love things like this, so simple, yet so beautiful.The way you captured the light on the sea, and it radiates right onto the beach itself, even showing off the awesome stones. Nice eye to spot it. Very nice textures and details. I like the curve (or seems to be) of the shoreline and lighting on the wet sands.
