the ligth colour of this coral is becasue it was very close to the shore of Lowe Island where I was snorkling.. very shallow clear water.

A very nice underwater shot, clean and well captured. Only thing I can think of that might help you is either a warming filter for your camera or a supplementary flash with a warming filter on it. :)

Nice texture study...and for people like me who don't know much about corals...the subject is fascinating. I think you may have had a number of shots to choose from, and perhaps you even rotated and cropped this one...the composition...with the similar types going to the center...is very pleasing. I'd have liked some identification in the narrative, and perhaps a bit more color...but we are all color junkies here! :)
