Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada. From the photo bin, a fog bank was moving in from off shore, visible in the distance. A short time after this shot was taken, the visibility dropped to near zero. Enjoy!
I smell fish. Oh yeah...I forgot..I made Talapia for dinner. I better light a scented candle. LOL. i love this shot Thad. it's a gorgeous scene with really good color and nicely composed. Did you use HDR for this?
This is a dandy Thad. JimboB commented on Bingwa's (Winona) post today that it reminded him of the movie The Shipping News. This one really reminds me of that. I really like the view and so much to look at and enjoy. One of your better ones.
WOW! A great capture of the cove. Beautiful vibrant colours, details and reflection. A great perspective and composition. I see you've been introduced to our foggy days, I live further inland and we get fog like that a lot of the time. Fantastic job Thad and thanks for sharing, ~Wendell.
Hi Thad
Well that is a real fine picture if I have ever seen one!! Nice and colorful building sitting on piles with such nice and calm water in front. I like that rock in the distance and how it is the last thing you see before the expanse of the ocean. Really one of your best shots Thad!
Take Care

Wow Thad! Such a pretty post of everyday life in a little fishing cove. I could spend a day there on that rough deck and watch the coming and goings of the boats....course...the 0 visibility would not be so fun...but I bet you could find some good chowder in one of those delightful colorful cottages!
Love it!
~Kim

A fabulous evocative shot, Thad. I can almost smell the kelp and hear the gulls screech. And those bright splashes of colour soon to be engulfed by the encroaching fog bank.
If you want to impress your friends, in the North-East of England fog-banks are still known by the old Viking name of 'haar'!
AVATAR BY PJ...............i've been visiting a friend who has a "sometimes connection". so sorry for the lack of comments.

There's something so dreamy and magical here Thad. A provocative image and very peaceful!!! It has a 'painted' look to it that I really like. A really wonderful post:):)
This shot of Peggy's cove brings back memories of an east coast tour. I took this exact shot of the inner harbor many years ago. Good shot, nice colors. Lancer
