Cromwell, Connecticut, USA. The paved road along the Connecticut River gives way to an old path through this wooded area to several fields. Enjoy! Critique welcomed.

I love old roads like this one. The trees catch the best lighting resulting in brilliant colors. A great capture my friend.

It makes one wonder what lies beyond the curve in the path. A great fall shot.

I like the perspective of that road, and the color and lighting are beautiful. Excellent work, Thad.

This photo has a wonderful 'mysterious' feel to it. Nice colors and good framing from the trees to the right and above..

I think you and TicK should have a back roads contest, Thad. Great colors and lighting. What a great place for a hike with the dogs. I like that little "No Trespassing" sign on the left. The growth looks too thick to get into even if you wanted to trespass.

A good looking scene, Thad. I like the lighting and shadows playing across the old road. Nice colours in the scene.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson
