Middlefield, Connecticut, USA. On a sunny afternoon, a few days after very heavy rains, this seasonal waterfall had some water to cascade down the 52 foot vertical drop of stepped falls. The log in the lower image is the broken top of a tree from some of this winter's severe winds. But, the image tells me Spring is coming! Enjoy! (EXIF: 18-135 at 19 mm, .6 ND filter, ISO 400, .5 sec, f22, exp bias -1; then: PS, Topaz Adjust, Nik Color Efex Pro.)

I like the light and dark areas of this photo. There must have been more strength to this stream to bring the tree trunk down with it or maybe the tree just fell over, anyway it's a gorgeous shot.
