Cromwell, Connecticut, USA. The first crocus blooms of the year in the garden are enjoying the sunshine, and are unfazed by the cold temperatures. Enjoy!
The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Lucky you. You mind sharing any of that warm spring sunshine? Beautiful lighting in your photo, Thad. Gorgeous rich colours in the flowers and leaves. A very nicely captured scene and thanks for sharing.
mmmmmmmmmmmm i can almost feel the warmth of the sunlight....how id love to be a flower in the warm sunlight after winter has withdrawn its blanket :) faved!!
Wonderful close-up of this beautiful flowers. You've used a great angle of shot, Thad. The worst thing when taking shots of this flowers is their very small size and always cluttered background/ground. With your angle of shot you did a great job. Here we have mostly yellow ones. The purple lines are very nice.
Undaunted are these beauties. We certainly didn't have very inviting temperatures for them. They are really lovely and so detailed. I can see that you had to get near the ground to capture them. Well done.
