Cromwell, Connecticut, USA. In a few weeks, professional golfers will be playing here in the Travelers Championship. Preparations are underway to prepare the course and all the television and spectator conveniences. A side gate was left open for deliveries, and a certain photographer. This is the sixth hole, a dogleg to a subtly tricky green. For Tick. Enjoy!

Take my advice. Use a hand wedge, add two strokes, and head for the 19th hole for a nice big draught. LOL. Beautiful shot of the course, Thad.

I have an uncle and a bunch of friends that would really love to be out there! The colors are amazing and it's a wonderfully sharp image. Nice.

Now that is a beautiful course. I know the pros work hard to keep thier games right but it sure is hard to feel sorry for them when you see thier office. Great capture Thad. I was hoping you would get this after reading your post yesterday.

A great looking golf course. The green colour of the grass and the darker green of the trees look very nice.

Perhaps my comment is somewhat too early, as I'm very curious about the reaction of Owd Fella Tick. Think however that he will enjoy this image very much, Thad. I enjoy this image anyhow because of the composition and the wonderful green.
Regards, Cornelius.

He'll be as green as the grass with envy. (perhaps) It amazes me how perfectly manicured these courses are and maybe they remind golfers of paradise in their near perfection.

Thanks for the nice shot Thad. Photos are the best shots I get on the course too. :) I will be watching the tournament and it will be amazing how many people will be in this scene. I like the angle you chose. It would be a tough shot from here because the green looks so narrow.
Glad you delivered this one.

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun

I know a fella who'll do a better job mowing your lawn than the fella who did it this time. Just look at how uneven it is, and he even left the rake laying out there for someone to trip over. You might want to think about beefing up that clothesline pole. Seems a bit flimsy and liable to bend under the weight of a pair of knickers.
A nice view of the course, Thad.
