...See how they run (or amble)! lol Denali National Park, Alaska, USA. As luck had it, we sat on the left side of the bus, the direction from which these three moose appeared in the brush to cross the road in front of the bus. They cared little that we were there. Upon sighting them, the driver stopped the bus, turned off the engine and all of us remained quiet. This reinforced the animals lack of interaction with humans, keeping their habitat as their own, with we humans being the visitors. Enjoy!

The big one looks interested in your camera, Thad. Nice composition and settings.

Hi, Thad...I see you finally took my advice and yelled, "Hey, you, over here!!" Your next mission (after you climb to the top of one of those mountains) is to get a nice picture of a bull moose charging you. Action shots usually get a sure fire high C-Index. During a bull moose charge, be sure and keep the motion blur from shaky hands to a minimum. I understand that nothing works better than a case of beer. Apparently you can actually approach the moose and pet their snouts. The smell of alcohol calms them.

Looking forward to more shots of your Denali adventure. This one's a beaut.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

To see & then capture with the lens all three Bull Moose's at once is amazing. Looks like the big one was leading the way. Outstanding capture, Thad.

A lucky shot of the moose, Thad. I like the focus work in the photo. Nice clarity on the lead moose and good DOF.

Still look to be in velvet, so not as aggressive as they would be a few weeks later in time, nice shot, very nice!
