Vancouver, BC, Canada. This was the view from our room on the twenty-first floor of the Pan Pacific Hotel. The copper-top building, the Sun Tower, when built in 1912, was the tallest building in Canada. Many of the city's modern buildings dwarf it. Vancouver was the terminus of the Canadian Pacific Railway, its station just in view in the lower right. Massive rail yards once accommodated the vast amounts of goods shipped in and out of the port to the rest of Canada and the world. With the decline of rail traffic, the yards have been reduced to these and several more, with numerous buildings rising from the old yards around the city. Enjoy!
Lots to look at in this great cityscape Thad.
