Denali National park, Alaska, USA - July 2011. Woodlands below the taiga are filled with spruce and birch trees, with an abundant undergrowth. Lightning strikes occasionally burn out areas that quickly renew with new trees. Here, a small cleaning allows direct sunlight to the forest floor. Enjoy!
